From our farm to your fork, we are committed to helping you with your order and experience. Below are two resources to aid in your ordering: a cut card from Woodson Country Prime Meats and an example order guide. 

Every butcher will have a different method and set of questions, regardless, you will get premium Angus beef cut your way.

Example Order Guide

CHUCK

With lots to offer the Chuck can be used for several cuts, with roasts being the most common.
  • What size do you want your Chuck Roasts?
    • 2-3 lbs (feeds 4)
    • 3-4lbs (feeds 6)
    • 4-5lbs (feeds 8)
  • What size do you want your Arm/Pot Roasts?
    • 2-3 lbs (feeds 4)
    • 3-4lbs (feeds 6)
    • 4-5lbs (feeds 8)

RIB

You have three options to mix-and-match?
  • Ribeye Steaks or Bone-in Rib Steak
    • ​How many per package? (1-4)
    • How thick per steak? (.75"-1.25")
  • Rib Roast 
    • ​What size would you like your roasts? (2-5lbs)
  • ​Would you like Short Ribs?

BRISKET

A large boneless cut great for the barbecue. 
  • How would you like the Brisket cut?
    • Whole (8-10lbs for a 1/2 beef share)
    • Halved (4-5lbs for a 1/2 beef share)

LOIN

For the short loin you can choose between:
  • Boneless KC Strip and Filet or T-Bones Steaks
    • How many per package? (1-4)
    • How thick per steak? (.75"-1.25")​
For your Sirloin, you have options of both steaks and roasts.
  • Sirloin Steaks
    • How many per package? (1-2)
    • How thick per steak? (.75"-1.25")​
  • ​Sirloin Tip Roast
    • ​What size would you like your roast? (2-5lbs)

From the Top Round look for leaner steaks. From the Bottom Round, you can expect roasts.

    • Round Steaks (London Broil)​

FLANK & SPECIALTY CUTS

The Flank, Skirt, and a number of specialty cuts are options to further customize your beef share. 
  • Flank Steak

  • Numerous other options exist and new cuts are always being developed. Ask your butcher about other cuts you are interested in.

Ground Beef & Offals

You will be getting premium Angus ground beef as well as steaks and roasts with your beef share. Here are your options:
  • Ground Beef
    • What size would you like your ground beef?
      • ​1 - 2lbs
    • Would you like your ground put into patties?
  • Offals (Trimmings)
    • Would you like the soup bones?
    • Tongue, heart, liver, and Oxtail each make excellent dishes.
